SAFETY SOLVED ANNOUNCES TRAINER CERTIFICATIONS FOR PRINCIPAL INSTRUCTOR

With an excellent track record, more than a decade of experience, and firm roots in the community, the newly merged Safety Solved’s Founder/Principal Instructor, Laurian Horowitz, has earned American Red Cross & American Heart Association Trainer certifications.
Newly merged Safety Solved is pleased to announce principal instructor Laurian Horowitz has obtained the status of American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor Trainer and American Heart Association Training Center Faculty with CPR Professionals. As principal instructor for Safety Solved, she will now be offering instructor trainings to the community and local businesses for:
- American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructors & Water Safety Instructors
- American Red Cross BLS CPR/AED & CPR/AED/First Aid Instructors
- American Heart Association BLS CPR/AED & Heartsaver Instructors
Ms. Horowitz has held basic certifications with the American Red Cross for almost 15 years. In 2013, she received Certified Pool Operator (CPO), as well as Aquatics Facility Operator (AFO) in 2015.
A graduate of the University of Denver, with Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, as well as having graduated with honors from the Bel‐Rea Institute of Animal Technology with Associate of Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technology, and a Colorado Veterinary Technician Certification, Ms. Horowitz is a highly trained and valuable asset to Safety Solved.
In addition to her extensive education, Ms. Horowitz also has field experience as a National Registry, Colorado & New Jersey Certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT‐B); operating as an active EMT from 2005‐2008, while working in New Jersey.
Understanding the importance of community, Ms. Horowitz actively participates in a number of local organizations, including the South Metro Denver Chamber, where she was named “Best Relationship Builder in Metro Denver” in 2010. In 2011, she was recognized for “Leadership in Motion” and “Philanthropic Leader of the Year” by the South Metro Denver Chamber and given the “Ron Skinner Award” in 2014 by the Experience Pros for her work on the “Be Involved. Give. (BIG) Day”‐ an annual event that continues to grow. Ms. Horowitz has served on the executive board of the Colorado Doulas Association since 2014 as the event coordinator planning professional development workshops, networking events, and their annual conference.
