Water Safety for Caregivers Online

The American Red Cross Water Safety for Parents and Caregivers Online Course focuses on developing an awareness of the risks of drowning and how to minimize those risks, especially for young children. This self paced online course teaches parents and caregivers about the concepts of the circle of drowning prevention, water competency and the chain of drowning survival. It also provides guidance for applying water safety to common environments and situations where children are most at risk for drowning.

When registering multiple students, each student must have a unique email address to send the online access to.

The American Red Cross Water Safety Ambassador online course is complimentary.  Donations are appreciated towards our Water Safety Challenge.  The Water Safety Challenge will provide training grants to those in financial need wanting to further their career in aquatics and water safety.
