- Understand how and when to use an AED
Certification: CPR/AED certification valid 2 year. Must attend all class hours and pass practical skill exams. Written exams are by request only and must pass with at least an 80%.
Ages: 12 and up. [Those ages 12-15 must attend the class with a parent.]

BLS CPR/AED for Healthcare Providers- See Available Courses
This course covers both adult and pediatric basic life support. While this is available as an ARC or AHA certification, please keep in mind that some employers may only accept one type of certification. Students are responsible for verifying with their employer. Course title will indicate whether it is AHA or ARC.

This course covers the basics of standard first aid and teaches the skills to act quickly in emergency situations. Available with an American Red Cross or American Heart Association certification.

- Determine if a victim is conscious or unconscious and how to move victim in an emergency situations
- Situations covered: shock, soft tissue and musculoskeletal injuries, sudden illness, poisoning, bites and stings, heat and cold emergencies
