Cancellation and Refund Policy

Last Modified: January 31, 2022

Refunds: All courses are non-refundable. If your course registration is canceled for any reason, you will receive a credit for any registration fees already paid, which may be used to re-register or reschedule your course. This credit will expire one year from the date of cancellation of the initial course. No-shows will not be treated as a cancellation and will not be eligible for the rescheduling credit.

Rescheduling: You may reschedule a course one time at least three business days in advance for no additional fee. A $40 administrative fee will be assessed for each additional reschedule or for reschedule requests received less than three business days in advance.

Course Pre-work, Prerequisites, and Health Screenings: Some courses may have pre-work requirements or other prerequisites for participating in the course. Any such requirements will be set forth on the applicable course description page. For example, our instructor courses require that participants possess a current certification in the course the participant wishes to teach and pass an online course before attending the in-person training. Online courses that accompany a classroom session must be completed before the first classroom session and you must bring the certificate of completion to the first classroom session, otherwise, you will not be admitted to the classroom session. In addition, some in-person courses may have additional requirements for safety precautions and health screening to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our course attendees and instructors. For example, you may be required to wear a face mask and/or have your temperature taken before being admitted to the course. No refunds will be given if you fail to complete pre-work, do not meet a prerequisite for a course, fail to provide us with any required documentation such as a certificate of completion for an online course, or fail to abide by any safety or health requirements. However, you may receive a one-time 50% credit to re-enroll in the same course if you do not pass the online training pre-work for a course or are otherwise ineligible to participate in a course. By registering for a course, you acknowledge and agree that it is your sole obligation to confirm that you have met any prerequisites and to ensure that you complete any required pre-work for a course.

Other Course Requirements: Some courses may have additional requirements for participants. For example, participants in our instructor courses are required to bring an instructor manual, participant manual, hip pack, and adult/infant rescue masks to the in-person training and must complete outside assignments as outlined in the course description. Please check the course description page to ensure that you can meet any and all requirements for your intended courses. No refunds will be given if you register for a course and do not meet all course requirements
(except in accordance with the cancellation policy above).

Successful Course Completion: All courses require attendance and participation in all online and in-person class sessions, demonstrated competency in all course skills, and successful completion of any written and practical examinations. Except as otherwise stated in this policy, absolutely no refunds or credits will be given if you do not successfully complete all requirements for a course or do not pass a course.

Payment Methods Accepted: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover Debit/Credit Cards. Invoicing & payment via check may be available for approved businesses, government entities, and nonprofits only.  Inquire for approval. Any returned checks will incur a $50 fee.  Certifications are held until payment is received in full.

Cancellation & Reschedule Requests: All cancellation notices and requests to reschedule must be submitted in writing to info@safety-solved.com or by phone at 303-257-9589.

The training and course requirements can be strenuous and there is a risk of serious bodily injury or death.
